Aqualift self cleaning - does non piece of work
I inherited a Maytag Gas oven with a business firm I bought.
Information technology uses the "Aqualift" engineering science to make clean the oven.
No harsh chemicals, no loftier temperatures, no odour. done in 40 minutes
Video looks bang-up, but that process just does not piece of work.
Does anyone take a stove with that technology who has figured out how to get this to work.
But post-obit either the directions in the manual or the video (they are the same) just does admittedly nothing for baked on spills in the bottom.
And at present I'm a bit reluctant to use an oven cleaner in case that makes things even worse.

How bad is the bottom of your oven? I had this engineering in my last oven and I loved it. You have to remove the racks and any accessories, scrape up whatever loose grime (that comes up fairly easily), pour in your 2 cups of water (preferably filtered or distilled), permit it run its bicycle, and then, while information technology's all the same warm, wipe out the bottom of your oven. Aqua Lift does not get as hot equally nearly oven self-clean cycles and will NOT kill your oven or impairment your cabinets.

- Not then easy there Ma…
And so this "Aqualift" is merely akin to soaking a pan with baked on food in warm water in your sink. And then why not add a niggling dish lather and await longer for it to soften up? If information technology however won't make clean up try a slightly abrasive plastic scrubber like one would apply on a pan that was soaking in a sink?

There is a department in the eye that seems really baked on.
I used filtered water, ran the bike but it din't soften the baked on role.

Basically, but I think the water gets pretty hot,not just warm.
I actually used dish soap too and and so a scrubber - withal won't come off.
Searching a bit I came across this:

Didn't really help just at least I know I'one thousand not the only one.
Before that, in my previous house, I had an electric self-cleaning oven where the temperature of the cleaning wheel reached about 600 C
That did the job only the clening cycle was much longer, over 4 hours, and there was quite some odour released.
So the Aqualift approach sounded much better.

Try some comet and a green scrubby for the worst part. Use gloves and *actually* hot water for that part. Let the comet sit down for a chip if y'all need to.
Separately, when using the Aqualift cycle, spritz the back and sides of the your oven with the same distilled/filtered water earlier running it. AND run your Aqualift right subsequently whatsoever spills/mess and/or monthly for the all-time results.
I know it's not perfect but the old self-cleaning cycles were strong enough to fry the electronics in the newer stoves and that's why they've gotten rid of them.

Yes, I ended up having to use no name oven cleaner. Left it on overnight and it removed almost of the baked on mess.
Aqualift just doesn't work for the kind of mess I leave, especially since I won't use it everytime right after I made the mess in the first place lol.
